BBC2 BRITART 'THOUGHT FOR THE DAY'
In case you missed it, BBC2 is currently running a series tracing the evolution (if that is the right word) of BritArt, Saturdays 7.10-8pm.
Now even the minor excitement of novelty has worn off, the whole phenomenon looks even more depressingly futile and pretentious, and the protagonists' cool assumption that it is of great significance, even more astonishing.
